Themed Entertainment

Production and Storytelling

I have had the privelege of producing a handful of location-based entertainment intiatives. Each project are stepping stones for me in becoming a more well-rounded producer that is both technical and conceptual. These are projects that, I hope, give to others what I love about experiential storytelling: the opporuntity to immerse yourself in a fictional world, losing track of time and place.

Cosmic Camp

Summer and Fall 2021

Cosmic CAMP is a space-themed playground infused with interactive technologies like RFID tracking, projeciton mapping and computer vision. As the lead producer for Cosmic Camp, I succcessfully oversaw the transporation of the experience from the 5th avenue CAMP store to the Brooklyn CAMP Store. My team provided consulting to execute the move, implemented touch-ups to some of the existing interactives, and delivered a meaningful experience on-time. My responsibilities included managing my team’s tasks, client communication, scope and budgement management, calibrating the applications, navigating third-party vendors, and onsite oversight. As well as an important moment of growth for me, the experience turned out to be an imaginative and playful journey through space.

The Friends Experience

Winter and Spring 2021

For the “FRIENDS Experience,” I oversaw projects that allowed the permanent experience in NYC to operate smoothly, as well as prepare new assets for its nationwide touring.

I assisted with the load-out and loud-in process from Chicago to Atlanta, making sure wall graphics can easily be transferred between locations.

When it was time to reopen The Friends Experience NYC during the pandemic, it had a new exhibit full of authentic artifacts from the show. I made the artifact labels that clearly call out which artifacts are which.

The Office Experience

Winter and Spring 2021

I developed creatives to turn “The Office Experience” into an executable activation. In preperation for the opening in Fall 2021, I created vital logistical assets that would be communicated to internal team members, clients, and vendors. Some of the assets I created include guest throughput maps and charts, color-coded exhibit plans, audio-visual location diagrams, scenic layouts, touchpoint callout maps and much more. The experience exposed me to the complex logistical considerations prior to activating a full-scale experience.

Both The FRIENDS Experience and The Office Experience grant fans into the fictional worlds of the franchises, through set recreations, original artifacts, and interactive installations.
